Paris Photo takes over the glass-roofed nave of the Grand Palais from 12 to 15 November 2026. The leading international fair devoted to photography marks a rare anniversary this year: its 29th edition coincides with the bicentenary of photography, two centuries after the first fixed image of 1826.

Photography continues in the Marais
During Paris Photo, the city’s photography institutions stage shows for the occasion, and two of the most important are walkable from Hotel Beaubourg, among what there is to discover in the Marais: the Maison Européenne de la Photographie on rue de Fourcy, and the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson on rue des Archives. The Marais galleries follow suit.
A trip built around the fair therefore happens largely on foot, which few Paris districts allow.
